| The "Visions of Peace" exhibit is to bring awareness of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. This theme provides a vast variety of interpretation for children to envision the world through gratitude for what they celebrate in their lives and empowers them to create a tomorrow of their dreams. | OPENS TUESDAY, APRIL 27, 2004 OPENING RECEPTION: SATURDAY, MAY 22ND TIME: 1-4 P.M. |
CURATORS: Beth Wyrybkowski and Marilyn Zimmerman The art will be by students from metropolitan area schools using a diversity of media. Swords into Plowshares Peace Center and Gallery is open on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Schools and other group visits can be arranged by calling (313) 963-7575 or by sending a fax to (313) 963-2569.
